Here at Perkins Specialized Transportation, we are proud of one of the finest Heavy Haul Owner/Operators in the country! He has over 17 years of “Superload” experience. He operates a 13 axle RGN with multiple decks available with a total load capacity of 160,000 lbs, with a gross weight of over a quarter million pounds! He has proven himself a more than capable driver by having no cargo claims and passing all roadside DOT inspections for 17 years!

From yellow iron with his 28 foot drop side rail, or his machinery decks with a total length of 38 foot, he is able to tarp the entire load! As with any line of work, repairs may be necessary, so he operates his own service/escort truck to help keep down the “Down Time” to a minimum. He has his own tire repair/replacement, extra fuel and all the necessary tools to keep rolling to keep your precious cargo moving as safely and expeditiously as possible!

Load securement, as regulated by the FMCSA mandates a grade 70 chain, (usually a half inch chain, which has an 11,000 lb rating). Our 13 axles trailer is outfitted with 120 chains, (a 17,900 lb rating) so you can be “worry free” when we haul your cargo!
